Loaded Nails are one of my favorite nail art designs. At least I call them loaded nails, lol. They are carefully filled with flowers, gems, shell pieces, little reflective bits, flat backed rhinestones, metal beads, to name a few. Each piece is placed with the intention of how the final design will display when viewed from the top. Encapsulated nails are so fun to make, and I love the length and shape too. a peach-colored hard gel was used for the base covering my natural nail. Clear hard gel was used for the encapsulation so that you get the full effect of all the sparkles and shimmery bits and can see the tiny flowers clearly. A layer of sheer peachy orange, my favorite color, is behind all the tiny tidbits. One more layer of hard gel encapsulates the whole design. After each nail is done I carefully file the underside to remove excess gel without removing the gel color. Not easy! The shape is a sharp angle at the tip that is referred to as a Russian shape. Mine are not as pointed because I tend to poke holes in everything although I will take that risk for a gorgeous set of stilettos. I hope you enjoy my work.
