For the best fit possible, use this sizing kit in the style of nails that you want. I will mail you a 11-15 piece set of clear soft gel press ons for accurate sizing. You should get it in 2-3 business days. Order your favorite set of nails with a Perfect Fit Sizing Kit and get the Sizing Kit Free. Just ask me how in a chat. When you get your kit follow these instructions: Remove a nail from the enclosed card that looks closest in size to your thumbnail. Place the nail over your thumbnail making sure it covers to the edge of each sidewall all the way to the skin but not over it. If that nail is too small or large, try the next size. If your nail falls between sizes use the larger size and you can file the nail edges of your finished set a millimeter or two for your personalized fit. Record the number of the size of your thumbnail on paper. Specify left or right hand. Repeat for all nails on both hands. Your nail sizes may differ between your hands Send the nail #s for each hand to me in a chat message. Notes: Nail sizes vary from each manufacturer and with each style. Please do not assume your measurements for a short almond style would be the same for a long coffin or even a long almond. They all differ. Your size may also differ from seller to seller so please make sure to follow Talons Nail Art measuring instructions. The alternative way to measure your nails without a sizing kit is described in the section "How to measure your nails" The shorter the nails the softer they will seem especially around the cuticle area. The sizing samples are not the nails that you will receive. See the Guides section for more information on Talons Nail Art press ons. Talons Nail Art by Jennifer-Not Just any Nails!

Measuring your nails at home

Read all directions to ensure the perfect fit

Method 1: Using Tape or Paper and a Ruler:
  1. Prepare your tools: clear adhesive tape, a ruler, or measuring tape that measures in millimeters, a piece of paper to keep track of your numbers.

  2. Apply the tape: Place a small piece of tape across the widest part of your nail, ensuring it is smooth. Press down firmly to get an accurate measurement.

  3. Mark the tape: Using a pen or pencil, make a mark on the tape at each side of your nail where it meets the skin. This will help you measure the width accurately.

  4. Remove and measure: Lay the tape flat on a surface. Use the ruler to measure the distance from the first mark to the second in millimeters (mm). Record this measurement for each nail. If it falls between sizes use 0.50 mm increments. I do have half sizes

  5. Repeat for each nail: Measure all your nails, from thumb to pinky, and note down the sizes. Send them to me in chat, by SMS or Chat.

Method 2: Direct Measurement:
  1. Use a measuring tape: If you have a soft measuring tape, hold it horizontally against the widest part of your nail bed. Record the measurement in millimeters. Follow the remaining steps above.

  2. Use half sizes I do have nails that are in half millimeter increments.  (i.e., 11.5 mm)
